Gas Furnace

The most common and typical heating equipment found in most homes in the Midwest. Gas furnaces use natural gas, as the name suggests, and may use a standing pilot (most older units), a spark igniter, or a hot surface igniter (newer units). Since these units use natural gas, maintenance is important to ensure safeties are operational, combustion is efficient, and making sure carbon monoxide is not present in the air stream.
